Day 1
Warmth welcoming & transfer from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) / Terminal 2 (T2) to Maxim Hotel Kota Kinabalu. Coordinator conducts briefing with guests at hotel lobby. Guests are free at leisure until the evening for KK by night guided tour. Excursion is excluding dinner, guests are to be recommended a nice place for dinner as per guests’ preferences.
Day 2
Meet at the reception area by 0700 and make a scenic drive for 2 hours to Luanti Kampung Stay. By 0930 proceed to the starting point of the rafting adventure. The rafting activity estimated to start at 1030 and lasts for 3-4 hours (depending on the water level). Apart from the thrill and excitement of riding the roaring rapids, it also gives you an opportunity to enjoy a closer encounter of the rainforest and interesting countryside. Lunch en-route. Upon arrival at the campsite; guides set up tent and prepare simple dinner. Guests are free at leisure. Camp for the night by the river bank. Enjoy the sound of flowing river and enchanting ‘jungle orchestra’ at night.
Day 3
After an early light breakfast at 0600, continue rating towards the pick up point. Return to Luanti for lunch and experience a unique and fascinating ‘fish massage’ in the afternoon before making a trip to Poring Hot Spring (ETA 1300). It is a must to visit the Canopy Walkway (41m) above the ground OR take a short jungle walk to Kipungit Waterfall. Soak into the hot sulphuric pool, believed to have therapeutic benefits for skin care and aching muscles. By 1500 make a return journey to Kota Kinabalu.
Day 4
Guests are free at leisure in the morning. We may suggest places for shopping for the countdown preparation if necessary. Pick up guests at 02100hrs from Maxim for countdown party at Qbar. Tour end at 0100hrs 01/01/2012
Day 5
Free at leisure til pick up for departure flight.
